History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Barfa hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
