History: Siffress hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Siffress grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Siffress. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dagger grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has wavy auburn hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Dalaba lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.
