Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Dara liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
