History: Euphemia hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Euphemia has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Flask was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Flask decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
