During his travels, Spring and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Spring discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Spring fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the west to a Spy, Hobart learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
