History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Mordai liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jade grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vaina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Balam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
