History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Cecily alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
