Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This woman stands a little under 2'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She likes to wear red tank tops with blue skirt. She has shaved her head bald. She is baby faced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thea embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Bricklayer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: This woman wears light armors faded through time and improper care, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her dark red hair is knotted and matted. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His head has been shaved. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Gimble was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gimble's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
