History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Mindartis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Lia was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything.
