History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: Emmeline was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and someone believes her a fraud
