Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears a green vest and prefers tan and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver crest is braided into rings. His red eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kiirith is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts, and is pretty ugly. Her lavender fur is lengthy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. He carries with him a set of shortspears on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Jabbie is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jabbie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jabbie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
