Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Blacksmith born in the past three hundred years. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a strong sense of loyalty to tabaxi people

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Qualen was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fletcher. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
