Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for her, and Malquis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When Malquis reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His black crest is singed and shortened. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This tall, slender woman wears a brown costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. Her fur is cinnamon and curly. Her eyes are likewise copper.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Skirt lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Server. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to settle down with her crush

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a brown deerstalker hat and brown clothes. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oriel embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern
