Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Heian was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to raise his children well

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is wearing a long, yellow cloak. Her white hair has been sun bleached extensively. She has amber eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing her hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult
