History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Cressel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Engraver mother left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Maagog isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dragonborn unity. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
