She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Malquis was born with her father's beautiful face. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
