History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Marigold took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her trident with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sumnes hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Gûndza was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Guard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
