Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Aldous's homeland. Aldous decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Valanthe was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
