Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. After a long history of fighting, Donaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Thiala was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Actor. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a great chef.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.
