History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a large grey jacket, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. This violet eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His first spouse was a Assassin, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: Standing 5'3", this woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. She has white hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gomory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she wants revenge against drow

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His brown hair is braided into rings. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Xappan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Xappan was born the youngest of three triplets. Xappan was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
