History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Darrow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
