Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Emerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
