Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His tied-back hair is silver. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Howard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Howard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man is very fat, and wears bulky black painted plate armor. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Xappan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Interpreter father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he's looking for his big break
