History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mella studied abroad. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, John never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Brakka was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
