Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a red shirt with thin black vertical stripes and brown pants, marred by sweets. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jak is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Jak hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and to be a mayor again

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Orryn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Sage father left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears a simple brown robe with red stripes complete with hood. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life
