History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
