Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Gifted from a young age, Shaena studied abroad. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Shaena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Snafû was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Snafû's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
