History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Fargas was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Fargas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Shump was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: This malnourished woman is dressed in an above average manner. Her moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
