History: Morana hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Birel embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. A true patriot, Birel would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
