History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Andry was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fonkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
