He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student she started as a Bricklayer, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
