Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Synthrin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Kallista was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
