History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Tarak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Ronwe is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Lilith was raised in a hard working conservative environment. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has worked as a Brewer like her mother before her.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
