Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hobart was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Hobart was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull grey iron scale mail, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people.

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
