Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This malnourished woman dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with green slacks. Her scarlet crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her red eyes.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 6. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Nella would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Paela lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
