Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Verin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Her hair is long and black with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small white clips. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Drenna speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and to share knowledge with the world
