Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple red line shooting up and back down. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Baern is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and has the majority of his body covered in plate. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. A true patriot, Paggen would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Paggen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This dark-skinned female is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is long and black with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born in the west. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears violet painted combat armor at almost all times. Her brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for her, and Keyleth does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it
