Personality: Veloptima is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her father's many stories. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. A true patriot, Tarhun would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tarhun was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
