History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer.
