History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Tawna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She is obsessed with her god.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many drow want her driven away
