History: Pelt was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
