History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Beiro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Beiro and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Blacksmith who has hired her part-time. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Baern took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
