He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She got into the Masseuse business at a young age. Through the years after Jo was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jo's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
