History: Born to a Blacksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Akra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Akra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Akra and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
