History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Lorilla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lorilla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She struck the Miller job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
