History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Avice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: She was born in the north. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker mother left her crippled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
