History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cumpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Stableman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Kellen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
