He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is an amazing painter.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to be a jeweler again

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Hamil was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This tall, slender man dresses like a well dressed Cartwright does. He has styled his rusty crest well, parting it to the right. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Sethrekar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sethrekar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
