History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ugol has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Ugol was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
