History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Syllin was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Oppleby was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has worked as a Beggar like his mother before him.
